New wig

upon arrival before brushing

So, a wig I bought secondhand arrived today and I'm having mixed feelings about it.

I like the concept I'm just not sure if I can fix what needs fixing. I'm also a little miffed that it was in an envelope with pieces loose so when I cut it open I almost cut the wig itself. :/ (This is after trying to shake it to the bottom and only cutting on the top fold.)

Some of the side pieces are sitting weird and I don't even know if this wig is heat resistant to fix it. I really like the ponytail though!

But as you can see it looks strange from the front. There are a lot of short, kinked and flyaway pieces that I have to take out and then after that idk. It needs a wig cap for sure because it's way too big despite being for "DD" sized heads. 9_9 Personally I don't like putting 9-10 wigs on my DDs because it's too floppy. I'm not sure if it's the size or the style but this wig doesn't stay on at all.

We'll see how I feel about it when I get some spray or something to help tame it. I might have to trim the bangs too.

  1. Even if it's not heat resistant you should be able to style it with hot water. I had to for my LittleFee's wig (god that thing was awful when I started), and it came out alright in the end.

The bangs seem to go really far back on this wig so it looks a bit odd from the side. :/

    1. Yeah it's just a mess, I think I'm not meant to have ponytail wigs. XD
